Welcome to the home page of Bodhi McLeod, Licensed Massage Therapist. I became a massage therapist because I myself started suffering from lower back pain when I was only in grade school. Later, I also sustained a whiplash injury, which resulted in a pinched nerve that bothered me for years. I told my pediatrician about my lower back pain. He detected a slight curve in my lower spine but said there was nothing I could do about it. He also said there was nothing I could for my whiplash injury except let it heal. I continued living with both problems until I was in high school and discovered yoga, which I found very helpful in relieving my pain and increasing my sense of well-being.  In my early twenties I had my first professional massage and thought it was wonderful! A few years later, I became a massage therapist. I know what massage has done for me and that's why I take joy in sharing this precious gift with others. I've now been practicing since 2003. I specialize in deep tissue techniques including myofascial release, neuromusclar therapy and trigger point therapy. I've had great success in helping people recover from common problems such as back pain, tendonitis, carpal tunnel, sciatica, frozen shoulder, migraine headaches, neuropathy, plantar fascitis, and just plain old muscular tension and stress. Many people find that being massaged regularly elevates their mood, benefiting them emotionally as well as physically.
